== General Information ==

The IEEE International Conference on Autonomous Robot Systems and Competitions gathers participants from academia and industry working in the fields of autonomous robotics and robotics competitions. This edition, initially planned to take place in the University of Azores campus, in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, will be held virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The conference is Sponsored by the Sociedade Portuguesa de Robótica (SPR), IEEE Portugal Section, IEEE Portugal Section RA Chapter and has the Technical Co-Sponsorship of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.

ICARSC 2019 technical program includes 54 papers that will be orally presented in 11 sessions (see program online). The program is organized in a single track to favor discussion and interactions and it features two invited keynote talks by Antonio Pascoal (LARSyS, University of Lisbon, Portugal), and Jan Peters (Max Plank Institute for Intelligent Systems, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany).

All presented papers will be included in the proceedings and published by IEEE Xplore. Extended versions of selected papers will be invited for submission to JINT and Industrial Robot journals.

We look forward to your participation in ICARSC 2020 online sessions!
