Second presentation (details and assessment)

Dear PhD Students,

According to ME/SM calendar and as discussed in class, the second presentation regarding the group project will take place next Friday, November, 7, starting at 9:00, in room V1.15. The order of presentations will be agreed upon at the start of the session.

The presentation should last about 10 min (with 12 min as the upper bound) and should reflect the content of the first report. Kindly try to share your time equitably. There will be time afterwards for questions and remarks, which should take approximately 10 min.

As announced, this presentation will be assessed and weighs 15% of the overall grade of the project. Evaluation will take the following aspects into account:

(1) quality of the oral presentation;

(2) quality of the slides;

(3) ability to answer questions, comments and concerns about the work developed;

(4) participation in the public discussion of other presentations.

Students are invited to comment on all projects presented in the session, hopefully contributing positively to their improvement.
