we are pleased to announce that this year's course Modeling and Automation of Industrial Processes will begin on April 20th 2026. This course explores how complex industrial systems are represented, analyzed, and automated using mathematical models and control strategies - a critical foundation for engineers working with modern automated facilities.

Just as the iconic Modern Times imagery evokes the interplay between humans and complex machinery, this course invites you to critically engage with the challenges and opportunities of industrial automation. In the film, relentless gears and assembly lines symbolize both the power and pressures of mechanization; similarly, in our course, models and automation tools help us tame complexity, improve efficiency, and ensure safe, reliable operation of industrial processes.
