The curricular unit has a theoretical component (T) and theoretical-practical (TP) and a laboratory component (L), with the final grade resulting from the following formula:

                                                  60% T/TP + 40% L

Where

T/TP (60%) =  Exam (45%) + MAP 10* (best 3 of 6, 15%)

L (40%) = Lab Reports (30%) + Report presentation/discussion (10%)

*MAP10: graded quizzes

The exam will take place in week 9 (with a minimum grade of 8)

In the case you choose to do the exam during the Appeal Period (week 22), the final grade will be the best of the following options:

MAP10 (15%) + Exam (45%) + L (40%) or  Exam (60%) + L (40%) or  Exam (100%)*

*In this case the exam will also have a Lab component
