40% Lab Report and Discussion (L) + 20% (short Lab report) + 40% Exam (E)

 

L (40%): There will be Laboratory clases in all the modules.

 

Samples of Zeolite NaY will be used for the structural characterization using MO, EM and PXRD. The samples  will be different for each group (different synthetic technique and different Si/Al ratio). Each Group will have its own sample that will be analysed by the techniques referred above. For this Lab project a report will be prepared, presented and discussed. Laboratory report presentation and discussion will be on the same day for everyone, and all the students must attend to all the presentations in week 10.

 

 

(20%): Short Lab report

 

This short lab report will be about the synthesis, crystallization and characterization by XRPD and SCXRD of a pharmaceutical cocrystal. This short report will not have a presentation but will be discussed.

 

E (40%): Exam
