The HCI lab will start on Wednesday, the 25th of February, to let everybody from the different universities partnering for Digital Media attend, we are going online. The course will start on the 25th of February at 9.30- and will have a duration of around 3 h (sometimes ending earlier), depending on the presentations and homework.
As usual, the course is shared between U. Lisbon and Fraunhofer in Porto- lectures from IST U. Lisbon will cover till easter- then you will transition to Fraunhofer Porto. In this first part of the course, we will cover HIC waves and focus on the last one, touching on post-human concerns and HCI methods. IF you are curious, read this paper to get an idea of how HCI is evolving into it 4th wave and post human concerns.
