As apresentações orais ocorrerão (como todas as aulas) de acordo com o calendário inicialmente previsto de aulas (secção CALENDÁRIO AULAS / TIME SCHEDULE) via reuniões colibri-zoom.

A nota em cada módulo será resultante da classificação dos relatórios e da apreciação do desempenho nas apresentações orais.

A apreciação qualitativa do seminário poderá, eventualmente, fazer subir ou descer a nota do relatório em 1/20 valores.

A classificação final de LEQ III resultará da média aritmética das notas de cada módulo.

Heterogeneous Catalysis - Alternative plan for 2nd class during quarantine period

The 2nd class of each group, scheduled to take place between March 16 and April 2, will be replaced by a bibliographic research on standard reactions for the characterization of zeolite acidity. The work plan will be available on the heterogeneous catalysis link. I will be available via Zoom software at 2pm each day with classes scheduled to answer questions.

The third class of each group, scheduled for the week after Easter, will take place on the scheduled date. If the quarantine is maintained, the class will be virtual using the Zoom software (the link will be available on the eve of each class). In the event that the quarantine was lifted at the date of the third class, this will take place in person in the laboratory with the work plan foreseen for the 2nd class (butene-1 isomerization reaction and Hammett indicators).

 

Catálise Heterogéna - Plano alternativo para 2ª aula em período de quarentena

A 2ª aula de cada grupo prevista ocorrer entre 16 de Março e 2 de Abril será substituída por um trabalho de pesquisa bibliográfica sobre reacções standard para a caracterização da acidez dos zeólitos. O plano de trabalho estará disponível no link de catalise heterogénea. Estarei disponível via Zoom às 14h em cada dia com aula prevista para esclarecer dúvidas

A terceira aula de cada grupo, prevista para a semana após a Páscoa, ocorrerá na data programada. Se a quarentena se mantiver a aula será virtual recorrendo ao software Zoom (o link será disponibilizado na véspera de cada aula). Na hipótese de a quarentena ter sido levantada à data da terceira aula, esta ocorrerá de forma presencial no laboratório com o plano de trabalhos previsto para a 2ª aula (reacção de isomerização do buteno-1 e indicadores de Hammett).

 

Plan for LEQIII Classes

Concerning the LEQIII classes (Reactors module), I think that my first plan has no chance to be implemented.

The new plan (Reactors Module) is:

-          Keep the actual calendar of the Reactors classes.

-          Each class is replaced by an online meeting, via colibri.

-          In each meeting I will explain the experiments to the involved groups in each lab session. Typical results from the experiments will be available and the focus of the virtual class will be the data treatment and discussion.

-          Before each virtual class I will send to involved students the URL they will use to be connected via colibri.

Concerning the Heterogeneous Catalysis Module, Profª Ana Paula is drawing up a specific plan, to be communicated soon.
