The Curricular Unit (CU) Introduction to the Hydrogen Value Chain is a new discipline to integrate the Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Its pedagogical structure is based on a combination of theoretical and practical classes, privileging a multidisciplinary approach and strongly oriented to the industrial reality with scientific foundation. The evaluation will be predominantly based on group work developed around multidisciplinary themes proposed by industrial entities. In addition, study visits will be tentatively organized, as well as laboratory activities of an experimental nature, aimed at supporting the development of the work and consolidating the knowledge acquired. Within the scope of this course, the participation of external speakers from the industry and relevant entities in the sector is expected, who will contribute with a strategic and market perspective on the hydrogen value chain and ensure sessions of a technical-scientific nature, focused on the exposition and deepening of the syllabus.

Given the need to coordinate the various activities foreseen, the multidisciplinary nature of the UC and its significant dependence on external actors, then:

-       The maximum number of students enrolled is limited to 30 students in order to ensure pedagogical quality and adequate monitoring of the planned activities.
