The grades of Case A are published.
The details of the process are in these two files:

FSI2017_Peers-CaseA-Grades.pdf

  • Nº - Student number
  • 0..6 - The average points the student got from the peer-review, in the range 0..6
  • 5,75 - The grade the student got, in the range 0..5, considering the threshold of 5,75 (meaning, everyone that got 5,75 in the range 0..6, got a 5 in the rang 0..5, while the others were converted linearly)
  • Rev? - This was intended to be used to penalize those that had not delivered the peer review or had made any other major fault. THIS WEEK WE EXCEPTIONALLY DECIDED NOT TO APPLY ANY PENALTY, BUT THIS WILL BE NOT REPEATED!!! Cases that will imply penalties in the future:
    • Missing peer-reviews: All those in yellow in the column "Rev?" :-(
    • Q1T / Q2T / Q3T - Several students broke the rule defining the total of points given in the peer-review could not be higher than 28. PLEASE WATCH THAT FOR THE FUTURE! :-(
    • Late deliveries - Since these could be included in the peer-review, they were reviewed by the faculty, and thus only have shown the final grade, and thus the empty cells in red :-(
  • Final - shows the final grade of the student

FSI2017_Peers-CaseA_Review.pdf

  • In this file each student can see the points he/she received from the peers review. The data of each report is in a group of 5 lines.
  • The first set of column Q1/Q2/Q3 are the points given to the report
  • The second set of column Q1/Q2/Q3 are the points used to calculate the average (the rule is to use the 3 values in the middle, excluding the lower and the highest). The average for each of the A1/Q2/Q3 is below each set of 3 values (for example, for the student 43123, for Q1, it is 3,33, resulting from the calculation (4+4+2)/3)
  • Below the average of each previous Q1/Q2/Q3 are the self given points, and the third column Q1/Q2/Q3 (in blue) are the final average for each question after considering the impact of the self-assessment, after the rule "each student that diverged less than 0,75 got 0,5 extra points)
  • The final calculated average points for each report, in the scale 0..6, is shown in the upper-right cell in dark green (for example, for the student 43123 it is 3,92, resulting from ((3,83*60%)+(4,17*30%)+(3,67*10%))
  • Lines in read mean one of the students that was assigned to review that particular report had not delivered it. When one particular report has only one missing review, that was ignored and the three higher points where used for the calculation of the averages. When more than one review was missing, the faculty provided the necessary reviews (the cases in orange).
