In this section students will find information about the execution and development of projects.

The description of all projects is now available (HERE). Note that some projects are more computation-based, while others are exclusively experimental. In this last case students assigned to these projects will need to spend time in the lab undertaking the tasks related to the project.

Until next TUE 23, each group of students will select its top-3 favourite projects and indicate their selection HERE. After that, projects will be assigned and you can start working on your video-pitches. Note that when groups coincide in their favorite projects a random selection is made and therefore you may not always get you asked for.

On the 3rd week (MON29) tutorial classes will start (online; 10-12) aiming to provide individual support to the execution of the projects. This support will be provided to each group of students in an individual basis and the link is HERE. The tutorial classes are not mandatory, but advisable to help you move forward.

I here again remember the evaluation moments associated to these projects:

1. Video-pitch, 6 min max  (each group will present the background of their project along with objectives. You will use the text description of your project along with accompanying papers). The video will be submitted via fenix.

2. Poster presentation of the project +  discussion (each group will have its poster presented in a day that we will choose for this effect; you discuss with all your colleagues their results, your results, etc). After this, students will individually be challenged to undertake a task.

3. Written discussion of your project results (document electronically delivered; no more than 5 pages). Here you just describe the results obtained while implementing your projects as well as the discussion of them.

For the poster presentation day, you will need to print your poster with an A1 poster size (VERTICAL!).

HERE and HERE you can see an example of a poster format. You need to print your poster in VERTICAL format.

In case you want, you can include a QR code in your project for the pitch you have prepared! This will be a nice add-value. A set of posters (~4) will be selected to be exposed at the walls of the South Tower until mid-November (students will be asked for consent for this).
