Lectures on Control Systems applied to Ocean Energy Conversion

Next week, I will deliver three lectures to the courses "Wave Energy" and "Modelling and Control of Ocean Energy Systems".

I have added a section entitled "Control Systems applied to Ocean Energy Conversion" to the webpages of both courses, where you can find the following:
  • Lecture notes, covering the subjects I will address, and including some suggested exercises. (The lecture notes come in a zip file, bundled together with three journal papers about the control of particular converters. These papers are by no means compulsory reading, just an extra you may read in case you find the subject useful for your work.)
  • A YouTube channel with videos of three lectures I recorded in 2020. (The lectures are split into 21 videos, of only a few minutes each, to help you find the particular subject you are interested in.)
  • A link for the Zoom session (always the same) of the three lectures, which will take place at the usual days and hours: Wednesday, April 14, from 9h00 to 10h30; Wednesday, April 14, from 12h00 to 13h30; and Friday, April 16, from 15h30 to 17h00. (I will address the same subjects you may read about in the lecture notes, or watch in the videos; of course, the Zoom session has the advantage of being interactive.)
