Métodos de Avaliação

The evaluation will take place at IST

  • (a) Average of 3 Tests, 45 minutes each
  • (b) Exam, 120 minutes
Students may take (a) + (b), final score is the best result between (a) and (b)

Tests (45 minutes):

  • 1st test in the 4th week -- 11 October 2022 (18:00)
  • 2nd test in the 6th week --  25 October 2022 (18:00)

Exam (120 minutes)

  • 16 November 2022

The exam will be divided in 3 parts, one corresponding to each test. Let T1, T2, T3 be the scores in the tests, and T1R, T2R, T3R the scores obtained in the corresponding parts of the exam.

If they wish, students may use the score obtained in some of the tests. In that case the following rules apply:

(a) In the exam, the student only answers one part (in 40 minutes time). The final score is:

       [max(T1,T1R)+T2+T3]/3

or    [T1 + max(T2,T2R) +T3]/3

or    [T1 + T2 +max(T3,T3R)]/3

depending on which test is recovered.

(b) In the exam, the student answers two parts (in 80 minutes time). The final score is:

      [max(T1+T2,T1R+T2R) +T3]/3

or   [max(T1+T3,T1R+T3R) +T2]/3

or   [max(T2+T3,T2R+T3R) +T1]/3

depending on which tests are recovered.

(c) In the exam, the student answers all parts (in 120 minutes time). The final score is:

       [max(T1+T2+T3,T1R+T2R+T3R)]/3

There is no oral examination
