Métodos de Avaliação

Assessment is made by either partial tests or global exam, plus a monograph/project.
Each student has two chances for the written proofs, one in the first period (Tests or first exam) and one in the second period (second exam).

Under the option of continuous assessment, the final grade (FG) will result from a weighted average of a monograph (M), the participation in a discussion of at least two projects/monographs (D) and the results of the first test (T1) and the second test (T2), according to:
FG=0.35xM + 0.05xD + 0.30xT1 + 0.30xT2.
The students who are not successful in the continuous assessment have the alternative of the second exam, which gives 60% of the final grade:

FG=0.35xM + 0.05xD + 0.60xE. In this option, the minimum grade in each if these items is 9.50.

The final grade (FG) required for approval is 10 (rounded to the unit).
