Please do not forget to upload your presentations to the shared folders, in pdf format, before your presentation session.
All the videos will have to be uploaded separately, saved in the .mp4 format. Please use this format for your videos or convert them, as the software will not read any other formats. (I have tried https://cloudconvert.com/mp4-converter and it worked for me).
As an alternative (not recommended but usable) you can upload your videos to youtube and have the URLs ready.

The final presentations will be held next week, on Tuesday / Jan 9
(for the Tuesday groups) and Thursday / Jan 11 (for the Thursday groups),
at 14h, in room V0.01.
Some instructions:
- 20 min. presentation + 10 min. discussion for each group.

The software of the video-wall that we will use does not read
powerpoint files. Please convert your presentations to pdf format.

You will not be able to perform the presentation directly from your
computer. Please upload all the necessary files (pdf and all the
movies) to the google drive folder that I shared with each group (check
your email).

The seminar with Professor Ioannis Economou, entitled "Computacional Molecular Engineering: a powerful tool for chemical
process and advanced materials design", will be held next Friday (Dec. 15th) at 14h, in QA1.1.
Professor Economou is the Executive Associate Dean of the Texas A&M University at Qatar, and is an expert in Molecular Modelling and Simulation.
This seminar will substitute today's (Dec. 11th) class. All students should attend!

For the next class (Tuesday 14/11 and Thursday 16/11), please download:
- The installation file for the Virtual Box software from https://www.virtualbox.org/
- The disk image with the virtual machine from https://tinyurl.com/bdfc3hem
The above software should work with Windows and pre-2021 Apple laptops.
If you have a recent Apple computer, you will probably need a different software. We will try to sort it out in class.
