Guidelines and important dates

Dissertations must be prepared according to the instructions in the Preparation Guide available in the Academic Area.
For the main document of the dissertation: use a valid Latex template such as this overleaf template.
For the extended abstract: we suggest the ACM template (2 columns, 10 pages), which can be also found as an overleaf template.

Dissertation deadlines (students registered in the dissertation course in the 2nd semester):

• October 31, 2025: submission of the dissertation and extended abstract at Fenix
• November 30, 2025: final deadline for the defense
• December 9, 2025: delivery of the final versions of dissertation and extended abstract at Fenix

The provisional version of the dissertation (before defense) should be submitted as a project in the page of this Dissertation UC in Fenix. Do not confuse this site with the dedicated tab in Fenix to submit the final versions after the defense.
