Due to the constructions currently taking place in the Computer Science building (Alameda - Informática I), the Tuesday (at 9am) and Wednesday (at 1pm) labs will take place in room AM in Mecânica II.

Lab Enrolment and Discord Server

Hi everyone,


When enrolling for the course, you should choose the lab shift (i.e., studio) you want to attend during this quarter. This is important, as teams will be defined based on the studio you are enrolled in. Also, studios will start in the first week of classes. All team members need to be enrolled in the same shift. We are aiming for teams of 4 people.

Feel free to join the course's Discord server. This will be our main communication channel. It is particularly useful, at this point in time, to find team members. If you can't find one, don't worry, you will be assigned to a team in the first studio. You just need to show up.

Welcome to Interaction Design Studio

Welcome to the Interaction Design (IxD) Studio course! You will learn how to design and prototype new interactive products and services to create great user experiences. Be prepared to learn, be challenged, and have fun.


We will discuss the syllabus and other important "logistical" details in the first lecture (28th of September at 4 PM). Also, I'll present the first Design Brief, so you can start working right away. I'll be at the Lisbon campus but feel free to join us at Taguspark via Videoconference. I hope to see you all there. In the meantime, please check the website to know more about the Evaluation Methods, Lectures, Studios, and Projects.
