Welcome to the HPCS/PHCS course! 

In the first week of teaching, we will only have theoretical classes. Labs will start in the second week and they will be performed in groups of 3 students. During the semester, we will have 3 mini-projects (labs), each with the duration of 2 weeks and covering the main aspects of modern parallel computing (SIMD vectorization, GPU, multi-core CPU and heterogeneous computing). 

We will detail all those matters on our first theoretical class.
