Exam and repeat of one Test

Dear students,

The final Exam date is scheduled to 19 January (Monday) 18h00-20h00, room P12 (Matematica Building).

During the Exam is possible to repeat one of the Tests (best score will be considered).The repetition of the Test will be made during the first 30 minutes of the Exam, starting at 18h00 and ending at 18h30. After this time students that did the Test repetition are invited to leave the room. You have to inform me at the beginning of the Exam which Test repetition you are planing to do (no need to inform me before that).

For both Exam and Test repetition you are allowed to bring one A4 page with your notes. No need for programmable calculator.

Dear Students,

Test 3 will start @ 11h30 in the 7th January Wednesday Class. So be sure to be at this time (11h30) at the class room (V1.31).

From 11h00 until 11h30 I will be in the class room available to clarify some questions you may bring.

Mind the following:

. Rebuttal of one TEST is possible at the final exam date (best score will be considered).

. The final exam date is scheduled to 19 January (Monday) 18h00-20h00, room P12 (Matematica Building)


Simulation Project presentation: dates & important rules

Dear students,

The Simulation Project presentations will take place :

- Wednesday 14th January 2026
- Room F2 (pav. Informática I)
- Period: 10h00-13h00.

Important informations:

1. The Simulation Project presentations session will start exactly at 10h00, so please be in the room a few minutes before to guarantee everything is ok;

2. Each group presentation is scheduled at a given time slot shown below. The remaining groups can decide either to stay in or leave the room;

3. The slide-show presentation should take no longer than 10 minutes (suggested up to 10 slides), after which 5 minutes should be left for the discussion;

4. Presentations and discussions can be either in English or in Portuguese (the same holds for the slides).


5. All members of the group should be involved in the presentation and ready to answer any question. Note that the score is individual;

5. Punctually is a key issue. All members of the group must be on-time, and make sure to have the slide-show ready-to-go;

6. If for any reason a given group is not able to make the presentation at the predefined time slot (see below), please inform me in advance such that a switch can be arranged with other group;

7. The final report (PDF, max 15 pages), the Matlab/Simulink files, and the slides used in the presentation, should be submitted in a compressed format via Fénix until 23h59 of the same day, Wednesday 14th January.

Group 1: 10h00 -10h15
Group 2: 10h15 -10h30
Group 3: 10h30 -10h45
Group 4: 10h45 -11h00
Group 5: 11h00 -11h15
Group 6: 11h15 -11h30
Group 7: 11h30 -11h45
Group 8: 11h45 -12h00
Group 9: 12h00 -12h15
Group 11: 12h15 - 12h30
