Goal

  • Create alternative Low Fidelity Prototypes;
  • Test the prototypes with users.

Procedure

You should identify and discuss the main design goals of your project. Once you have defined them, you should create sketches that explore different alternative designs using the 10 Plus 10 Method.

Presentation

From the initial designs, you should choose the most promising and develop a low-fidelity prototype for each design goal/solution.

Finally, conduct a Wizard of Oz study (minimum 3 users) using your low-fidelity prototype and collect user feedback (What were their main challenges? What did they like the most? What was the easiest task to perform?). Your low-fidelity prototype should have enough flexibility and enable users to perform different tasks.

Each team has 5 minutes to present their work. The presentation should be previously uploaded to your website.

Evaluation

The evaluation will be based on:

  • Quality of the presentation [0.5];
  • Identification of design goals [0.5];
  • Low-Fidelity Prototype [1.0];
  • Tests with users [1.0].
