CAP Exam (Recovery evaluation period)

The CAP exam to be carried out during the recovery evaluation period of the 2^nd semester 2023-2024, is scheduled for Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.

IMPORTANT: Students that want to improve the final grade of their completed continuous evaluation can also solve the recovery exam, but the CAP recovery exam grade will replace ALL the CAP continuous evaluation components.

Guidelines and rules for CAP Exam:

• The exam will have a maximum duration of 2 hours (with extra 30 minutes if needed) and it will take place at Room 5, LTI at the 5th floor South Tower;
• The total grading of CAP Exam will be 20 points;
• The exam will be solved using MATLAB/Simulink and Control System and MPC Toolbox software, and the files developed will be submitted at Fénix system at the end;
• The names of all the submitted files must start with your first name and surname. Example: MariaCosta_CAPexam.m
• You can bring and use your laptops for solving the exam using MATLAB/Simulink, Control System and MPC Toolbox;
• The CAP exam must be solved individually;
• You may consult all the documentation, books, course material, digital material, Matlab and Simulink files, etc, that you need. But, you may not discuss and talk with your classmates during the exam and you cannot use your mobile, tablet, facebook, e-mail, etc, to exchange any type of information with your classmates;
• Each student can only ask me 2 questions for help during the exam.
