Student Seminars

9 dezembro 2020, 09:30 Cláudia Lobato da Silva

You can find the final schedule for the presentations in Useful Information.

The presentations start this Friday, Dec 11.

Each group has 20 minutes (total) = 12-15 minutes of presentation + 5-8 minutes of discussion. We have to be very rigorous with the times in order to not have delays in the session.

Please have your presentation in a ppt or pdf file in order to be shared throughout the Zoom session. We will use the Zoom links for the classes.

Please let us know if you have any question.

Abstract Essay - Today

3 novembro 2020, 10:13 Cláudia Lobato da Silva

Today we will have our first Abstract Essay assessment.

At 11h00m, the article for this exercise will be available for all of you at Fénix (I will upload it in the Abstract Essay Folder). In the same folder, you have the recommendations for the exercise.

You can send me the exercise (individual) by email (claudia_lobato@tecnico.ulisboa.pt) in a pdf format until tomorrow, November, 4th (until 11h00m). Please confirm that you identify your file with your name and/or number (i.e. file name).

The article has no title nor abstract so I am expecting that you send me a suggestion for the title as well as for the text for the abstract. We encourage you to prepare an original abstract, made by yourself and following our suggestions, and not a copy from the published abstract that you might find in the Web.

The use of sub-sections is not mandatory (either the ones in the template file or the ones in the article itself). It is up to you to use it or not (i.e. continuous text).

Good Work!
