Since the teaching period of this semester has officially finished at IST, there will be no more classes.

I understand that some of you were expecting a lecture about the EM algorithm, which I said I would present, but ended up not doing so. If some of you are interested, I would be glad to give an extra lecture covering EM and mixture models, but I can only do it in the week of June 19-23. Please let me know by email, in case you're interested, so that I decide if there are enough people interested.

There will not be a second homework, so the grading will only be based on the first homework and (mainly) the project/report.

The deadline for submitting the homework and project is July 9.
