AECD Project Selections -- Meeting on September 3rd -- 10:30 AM -- Room V1.07

In this year's MECD Welcome Session, we will introduce the AECD course organization and organize a discussion of project ideas with students and faculty the get-together/lunch hour.

The Welcome Session will take place on the 3rd of September, at 10:30 AM, in Room V1.07.

A list of project project/problem options, together with the corresponding contacts within the companies/institutions, has been published. You should analyse the different options, choose a project of your preference, and negotiate with the companies the assignment of the projects.

Recall that the projects are envisioned for groups of 2 students.

Students should also indicate, in a shared document, which project that they are going to pursue. This indication should only be made after the project attribution has been agreed with the receiving institution, and access to the shared document requires authentication on the IST Google Cloud.

We strongly encourage students to start working on the projects as soon as possible.

The deadlines for the project are as follows:

Project Selection: October 4, 2024

Submission of Report/Code/Slides on Fenix: January 20, 2025

Course Workshop for Final Project Presentations: January 23 and 24, 2025
