Exame de Época Especial

8 setembro 2020, 13:29 Aleksandar Ilic

The exam will be on 09.09.2020 at 11h00 via ZOOM (link will be provided via email to the subscribed students). Exam will follow the print&scan format (no Moodle) and only officially subscribed students (on Fenix) will be admitted. During the exam, it is needed to guarantee access to the printer, scanner (or mobile-phone to be used for this purpose), web-cam and microphone.
If any of the requirements (listed below) are not possible to be fulfilled, I strongly recommend coming to IST and do the exam in-person!

Exam revision (Revisão de prova): Friday, 11.09.2020 at 11h00 via ZOOM.

== BASIC RULES ==
In general, the rules need to follow the principles of in-person evaluation (although we will do it remotely).
  • The duration of the exam is 2h30min.
  • Early check-in will start at 10h30 and you will be able to test your printer, scanner and all other functionalities with me (if you wish to do so). I advise you to use this slot, in order to avoid potential issues during the evaluation.
  • At 11h00, I will distribute “enunciado” in pdf. You will need to print it (using the printer in your room), and resolve it directly on “enunciado” (exactly the same way as if the evaluation was performed in-person)
  • During the exam, it is needed to have your web-cam and mic turned on (all the time). The web-cam needs to be positioned in such a way that allows observing you, your activities and your complete table.
  • I will be contactable via Zoom during the exam and we will “talk” - no typing or chatting
  • The only material that is allowed to be consulted is ANEXO P3 (in printed form!)
  • No electronic devices are allowed to be used during the exam, nor any other material (calculator, folhas de rescunho etc)
  • After 2h30 mins (i.e., at 13h30 sharp), you will need to scan each sheet of “enunciado” (ALL PAGES, even NOT FILLED ones, and preferably merge it in a single PDF). You can use mobile-phone for this purpose. All pages need to be identified (your name and student number) and clearly scanned (it is advisable to practice this BEFORE the exam)! After scanning, you will send the pdf (file with scanned material) back to me for evaluation. As you can notice, after 13h30 you will be allowed to use the electronic devices again, but NO changes should be made to your exam!
  • If any misconduct is spotted during the evaluation, your exam will be invalidated! In case that any of the above requirements are not possible to be fulfilled, I strongly recommend coming to IST and do the exam in-person.
