Information about the Test (Part II)

Dear Students,

Please do not forget to register!

Some students are going to be allowed to take the test via Zoom (at the same time and day as the other students):

  • Students who live in the Ilha da Madeira and Ilhas dos Açores
  • Students who are at higher risk from COVID-19 (according to SNS's list)
  • Students who are in prophylactic isolation
If you are in one of these conditions, please send me an e-mail with an attached document that proves you are eligible for taking the online test. Note that these students will also have to take an oral exam (to be scheduled after the test).

Please let me know if you have any concerns regarding the test.

Test registration

Dear Students,


The test 1 registration is now open and closes on 26/4/2021.

Registration for the test is mandatory so that we can assign students to the rooms in advance. If you do not register, please note that we cannot guarantee that you will have seating space or a handout available.

So do not forget to register!

Please let me know if you have any specific concerns.

I will be posting more information about the test logistics in a couple of days.

Next week, I will present the solutions for each question in the first lecture.

Logistics (after April 19th)

Dear Students,

I would like to share some information regarding the logistics of the course after April 19th:

  • We will continue to use the Zoom meetings for the lectures and lab classes;
  • Our current plan is to have an on-campus test, where students are required to come to the Alameda and Taguspark campuses to take the first test.
