Objectivos

Consolidated knowledge in the technical and scientific issues most relevant to in energy systems, with special em-phasis in emerging micro systems with high potential use in innovative products and manufacturing solutions.

Programa

The program gives an overview of the current technologies; deals with the transport properties and phenomena and their inter-dependence of micron sized geometric effects induced by materials and manufacturing processes; provides tools to evaluate the benefits and adverse effects of scale reduction and applies to various thermally-based technologies. Design and analysis of micro energy systems; Transport properties of materials and transport phenomena; Transport phenomena in microfluidics; Micro cooling systems; High density power systems - Second law analysis Integration of micro heat exchanger and micro power devices; Components design technology of micro thermal systems
