Objectivos
A disciplina visa compreender o papel das emoções no comportamento humano, e como a utilização de aspectos emocionais podem melhor a interacção humano-agente.
Programa
• Introdução e motivação. O que são agentes emocionalmente inteligentes e agentes socialmente inteligentes. Exemplos de aplicações e problemas. • Perspectivas sobre emoções. O papel das emoções no comportamento humano. Representação de emoções. Teorias de avaliação emocional. • Reconhecimento de emoções e outros estados afectivos. Reconhecimento de expressões faciais. Reconhecimento e interpretação de sinais fisiológicos. • Geração e expressão de emoções. Modelos computacionais de emoções. Arquitecturas de agentes emocionais. Expressão de emoções em computadores e robots. • Influência das emoções no comportamento. Utilização de emoções para guiar a atenção e processos de decisão. Regulação emocional. • Comportamento socio-afectivo. Relação entre comportamento emocional e social. Empatia. Partilha de emoções. Regulação interpessoal de emoções.
