Detalhes: {pt=O presente estudo teve como objectivo a análise da evolução do Cluster Petrolífero/Petroquímico Português e suas perspectivas futuras. Nesse sentido, procedeu-se a uma análise do passado, desde 1940 até à actualidade, com base em documentação histórica e informações recolhidas em entrevistas com especialistas. Seguidamente, e tendo como propósito a aferição da actual situação competitiva deste Cluster, aplicaram-se duas ferramentas de análise, o modelo diamante de Porter e a análise SWOT. Com o auxílio destas ferramentas e de toda a informação extraída do contexto passado verificou-se que a intensidade das interligações que compõem o Cluster foram recentemente revigoradas todavia, a densidade da sua malha processual tem vindo a diluir-se. Perspectivando para a indústria petroquímica Europeia uma conjuntura exigente e que premiará os Clusters mais sólidos, são neste estudo apresentadas algumas sugestões no sentido de reforçar a competitividade futura do Cluster Petrolífero/Petroquímico Português. , en=The present study has as its goal the analysis of the evolution of the Portuguese Petroleum/Petrochemical Cluster and its future prospects. For this, we proceeded with an analysis of the past since 1940 until our days, using historical documents and information gathered from interviews with experts. After this, and having the purpose of benchmarking the Cluster?s current competitive situation, two analysis tools were used ? the Porter?s Diamond of National Advantage and the SWOT analysis. With these tools and with all the information extracted from the past context, we found that the interconnection?s intensity of the Cluster was recently revived. However, the density of its procedural net has been fading away. With prospects of a demanding conjuncture for the European petrochemical industry, which will reward the more solid Clusters, in this study we present some suggestions for the reinforcement of the future competitiveness of the Portuguese Petroleum/Petrochemical Cluster. }
