Detalhes: {pt=O mundo vive hoje uma quarta revolução industrial, designada de Indústria 4.0, caracterizada pelo uso de tecnologias disruptivas que prometem revolucionar a forma de trabalhar de uma organização. Muitos setores já iniciaram a sua transição para este novo paradigma, mas a indústria farmacêutica tem sentido dificuldade em acolher este novo modelo industrial, devido a alguns riscos e barreiras existentes. Este estudo pretende então estudar o conceito indústria 4.0 e a sua aplicação na Indústria Farmacêutica e perceber como é que esta transformação pode ser realizada de uma forma eficaz, delineando um plano estratégico, que permita as organizações inseridas neste domínio suplantar todos os riscos e barreiras, de forma a poderem explorar todos os benefícios associados a esta nova abordagem de pensar a indústria. O caso de estudo deste trabalho será a organização XPTO, uma empresa farmacêutica sediada em Portugal. Através da realização de um diagnóstico que vise obter os principais constrangimentos sentidos no processo de produção, serão então formulados algumas propostas e iniciativas que têm por base algumas tecnologias associadas à I4.0, que permita à empresa lidar com essas oportunidades de melhoria, mas também iniciar o seu caminho rumo a este novo modelo industrial e assim potenciar o crescimento da organização de uma forma sustentada. Pretende-se que o trabalho a realizar possa vir a servir como um guião e desta forma dar uma contribuição significativa a empresas inseridas na indústria farmacêutica, que através do exemplo da XPTO, consigam também iniciar a sua transformação digital rumo à Indústria 4.0. , en=Currently the world is experiencing a fourth industrial revolution, named Industry 4.0, characterised by the use of disruptive technologies that promise to revolutionise the way an organisation works. Many sectors have already started their transition to this new paradigm but the pharmaceutical industry has found it difficult to embrace this new industrial model, due to some existing risks and barriers. Therefore, this study aims to study the Industry 4.0 concept and its application in the Pharmaceutical Industry and to understand how this transformation can be carried out in an effective way, outlining a strategic plan that allows organisations in this domain to mitigate/overtake all risks and barriers, so that they can exploit all the benefits associated with this new approach to thinking about industry. The case study of this work will be the organisatios XPTO, a pharmaceutical company based in Portugal. Through a diagnosis that aims to obtain the main constraints felt in the production process, some projects and initiatives based on some technologies associated to I4.0 will then be formulated, allowing the company to deal with those improvement opportunities but also to start its path towards the industrial model envisioned with Industry 4.0 and thus enhance the organisation's growth in a sustained way. It is intended that the work to be done may serve as a guide and thus give a significant contribution to companies in the pharmaceutical industry, which through the XPTO example, may also start their digital transformation towards Industry 4.0.}
