"4G Technologies in Wireless Multimedia Communications from the User's Perspective"
by Prof. Zoran Bojkovic
Abstract: Multimedia networking is evolving faster than ever because of the changing requirements of users and capabilities of communication technology. Fourth generation (4G) is the latest in a series of wireless network technology families for personal communication systems. In this talk , we will start with migration to 4G mobile systems and continue with an overview of the state of - the- art in the field of the beyond third generation (B3G) and the fourth generation (4G) technologies. Then, we move to all IP network. Next, integration quality of service (QoS) and security technologies in 4G mobile multimedia will be considered. The final part of this presentation deals with security in 4G networks. Requirements from user's, network's and service's perspective are taken into account, too.
