{pt_PT=Análise do comportamento de escavações de poços de secção circular} {} EVALUATED

{pt=Uma característica comum à maior parte das obras de Engenharia Civil é a sua necessidade de manutenção, à qual são inerentes não só os problemas associados à concepção da intervenção a realizar, mas também outros factores, tais como o acesso à obra. E se existem obras cujo acesso não representa qualquer desafio, existem outras em que o acesso pode constituir, em si, uma obra. É sobre uma destas obras que se dedica esta dissertação, mais concretamente sobre a construção de três poços de visita no caneiro de Alcântara, inseridos no projecto correspondente à reparação deste caneiro. Estes poços de visita são necessários pois neste local o caneiro, originalmente a céu aberto, foi sendo aterrado ao longo dos anos, estando neste momento a uma profundidade média de 20m. A contenção periférica dos poços é feita através de uma estrutura de suporte flexível: uma cortina circular de estacas moldadas, travada superiormente por uma viga de coroamento e inferiormente por uma laje de fundo. Tomando a obra como caso de estudo, pretendem-se analisar as soluções adoptadas no dimensionamento e concepção dos poços, comparando-as com soluções alternativas. Esta análise é feita através da modelação numérica da solução adoptada, bem como das soluções alternativas, recorrendo, para tal, ao programa de elementos finitos Plaxis 2D. A interpretação de resultados é feita ao nível de uma análise de deslocamentos. O objectivo fundamental desta dissertação é o de perceber se as opções tomadas foram as mais adequadas, e quais seriam as vantagens ou desvantagens de adoptar soluções diferentes. , en=A characteristic that most of the civil engineering works share is the need for maintenance, to which are associated not only the problems of the conception itself, but also other aspects like the site access. If there are constructions whose access does not represent any challenge, there are others in which the access can be a construction work itself. This thesis is about one of this construction works, more precisely about the construction of three shafts in the Alcântara sewage tunnel that are part of the project for repair and maintenance of the sewage tunnel. These shafts are needed because the sewage tunnel, originally an open trench, is now under a landfill about 20m deep. For the peripheral earth retaining structure, a flexible support structure is used: a curtain of bored piles, braced at the top by a continuous beam and at the bottom by a slab. Taking the referred construction project as case study, it is the objective of this thesis to analyze the chosen solutions for the design of the shafts, comparing them with variant solutions. This analysis is performed through the numerical modeling of the solutions, both the original and the variant solutions, using for that effect the finite element program Plaxis 2D. The interpretation of the results is mostly based on a displacements analysis. The main objective of this thesis is to understand if the chosen solutions were the most suitable ones, and what were the advantages and disadvantages related with the adoption of different solutions. }
