Detalhes: {pt=O seguinte trabalho resume o Projecto Final do Mestrado de Arquitectura cuja temática consiste na Reabilitação de um edifício moderno, desenhado pelo arquitecto Keil do Amaral, existente no centro de Almada. O objectivo inicial do projecto visou o desenvolvimento de um Hotel no edifício em causa, considerando todas as relações do programa com a cidade de Almada, tendo sempre em conta a escala e o tipo de actividades que seriam promovidas no Hotel e na sua envolvente. O projecto procura relacionar-se e responder às necessidades da população da cidade, consequentemente tornando-se uma parte integrante da malha urbana. O interior deste quarteirão é visto como uma oportunidade de melhorar exponencialmente toda a envolvente e é com isso em mente que o programa inicial se diversifica e expande., en=This work resumes the final Project in the master course in Architecture, which theme consists on the rehabilitation of a modern building, designed by the architect Keil do Amaral, in the centre of the city of Almada. The initial goal of the Project was the development of a Hotel within the old building, considering all the interactions of the new program with the existing city, always paying close attention to the scale and the different activities that would be promoted in the hotel and it’s surrounding. The Project aims to relate and to solve some of the necessities of the city’s population, consequently becoming integral part of it. The interior of this block is seen as a chance to improve exponentially all the surrounding neighbourhood, and with that in mind the initial program expands and diversifies.}
