Today, May 10th, at 11h30, the seminar "Mature Field Development by Multidisciplinary Team“ will be presented by Hugo Caetano, ADCO
Venue: Room Q4.7, South Tower, IST – Alameda Campus
Hugo Caetano has a
degree in Mining Engineering from IST. A PhD in Geostatistics applied to
Seismic Inversion with the research divided between IST and Stanford University
with a Fulbright scholarship. Industry career started at Partex and is
currently working as Senior Geomodeler in ADCO.

Roland Muggli is Head of Global Exploration at Galp Energia S.A.
with nearly 25 years of EP experience. Prior to working in Galp he worked for
Shell International in Exploration and New Business Development in Northern
Europe , Middle East and SE Asia. Roland holds an MSc. in Earth Sciences
(Geophysics) from the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and a MBA from the
University of Lincolnshire and Humberside.

Next Wednsday, April 19th, at 11h30, the seminar “Petroleum Exploration in Portugal“ will be held, presented by José Miguel Martins, ENMC

José Miguel Martins received a degree in Geology by Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto in 1990, a MSc and a PhD in Paleontology and Stratigraphy, by Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, in 1998 and 2007. He has been for the Unidade de Pesquisa e Exploração de Recursos Petrolíferos of Entidade Nacional para o Mercado de Combustíveis, E.P.E. (ENMC) since 1991, mainly with competencies in petroleum geology, stratigraphy and organic geochemistry areas. Now with Coordination of UPEP at ENMC. His main activities are related with: specific studies in Geology/Stratigraphy and Organic Geochemistry areas; technical evaluation and approval of plans, projects and reports within the concessionaires exploration activities; nacional and international petroleum potential promotion of the portuguese sedimentary basins; promotion and development of the technical data/information; participation in european projects and technical-scientific cooperation projects/agreements with Universities and Academia; participation in conferences, seminars, congresses and meetings; author of scientific articles.
