Friday, March 31th, at 16h00, the seminar “Outcrop Analogues for Carbonate Reservoirs: a Virtual Field Trip" will be held, presented by Mr. Paulo Bizarro , from Partex Oil&Gas

Paulo Bizarro has an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College, London (1996) and BSc in Geology from the University of Lisbon (1988).

Geoscience Coordinator of Partex Oil and Gas since 2013, with coordinating and technical representation roles in several Exploration & Production interests in its petroleum concessions in different areas of the world, namely the Middle East and Kazakhstan.

From 2002 to 2009 he was seconded by Partex  to Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), working in field development planning, geomodelling, and reservoir characterization studies, for various fields in Oman.

From 1998 to 2002 he worked for Compagnie Generale de Geophysique (CGG), working in several reservoir characterization studies in Mexico, Bahrein, Venezuela, and Russia.

Joined Partex in 1988, and until 1998 he held several technical roles for Partex Oil and Gas on reservoir characterization, static modelling and field development in the Middle East, West Africa and Kazakhstan.

Author and co-author of several publications on reservoir characterization and integrated studies for oil field development projects, as well as speaker at several technical conferences.
